We had several foggy windows and had already gotten a quote for full replacement. We had no idea we could replace just the glass. Sky explained everything and gave us a clear price. We kept our frames, and we can finally see through our windows again.
MikeI wish we’d done it sooner.
Our front windows always looked dirty, no matter how much we cleaned them. Turns out the haze was between the panes. The new glass made such a difference. I didn’t realize how much it bothered me until it was gone.
AndreaThe whole process was easy.
We sent a few photos, got a ballpark price, and scheduled a time for them to measure. They kept us updated and scheduled the installation once the glass was ready. They hauled away the old glass and left everything clean.
What actually happens when we replace your glass?
01
Show us the problem.
Send us photos and approximate sizes. We'll give you a ballpark quote before coming out to measure.
02
We measure and order.
We confirm the exact dimensions and glass specifications. New glass is typically ready in 1–2 weeks after ordering.
03
We swap the glass.
We remove the old sealed glass unit, install the new one, and haul the old glass away. Most pieces take about an hour to install.
Most modern windows have two panes of glass sealed together as one unit. When that seal fails, moisture can get between the panes. The cloudy buildup is inside the glass unit, where cleaning can’t reach it.
That sealed unit is called an IGU. It’s the part we replace. Your existing frame stays.
The sealed edge.
A spacer separates the panes, with a seal around the outside.
The glass unit.
Two panes, one sealed unit. Made to fit your existing frame.
What do I end up with?
New insulated glass made to fit your existing frame, with matching specifications where available. Clear views again without tearing out a frame that's still doing its job.
And the new unit comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty on qualifying seal failure.
Is this right for my windows?
If your glass is foggy, hazy, cracked, or has moisture between the panes, chances are we can help.
The main thing we look at is the frame. If it's still in good condition and suitable for reglazing, we can usually replace just the glass. If it isn't, we'll tell you.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size, type, and number of glass units.
Full window replacement means paying for new frames and the work of replacing everything. We focus on replacing the part that's failed.
Send a few photos and approximate measurements. We'll give you a ballpark price before scheduling an exact measurement.
